We are Katy Hopkins and Steve Hawthorne. We have worked together for 18 years, including a decade as Creative Directors.
We have been awarded at all the major creative awards shows including Cannes Lions, D&AD and One Show, winning over 80 awards. We have also won DMA and IPA Effie effectiveness awards.
We both mentor for the Creatives Equals - Creative Comeback scheme, to harness the power of diversity, equity and inclusion. Katy has been named Top 30 Female Creative Trailblazers.
We believe in the power of good ideas to create change, regardless of what shape or form those ideas take. That approach has led to us creating work that has forced legislative change in both Europe and Africa, caused the Navy's recruitment website to crash and found its way into Time Magazine’s list of Top 50 Inventions.
Outside work we have launched a women’s cycling brand, built a website that helps to reunite lost luggage with its owners, started a photography project that collates words of advice from octogenarians and created an art installation that inflates and deflates the heads of politicians depending on what people are saying about them on social media.
